No. 01 Energy control for business · Pakistan

Cut the bill where it is biggest: demand, peak hours and diesel.

Total control of every device, automated by AI: inverters, batteries, chillers, compressors, ACs, switches and meters on one screen, with an AI mode that learns your site and runs it to your rules.

Joulvant puts a company’s solar, batteries, grid supply and heavy loads under one control system. It holds the maximum demand down, keeps peak-hour units off the grid, keeps export under the limit, and keeps every site running through load-shedding.

No. 02 Where the money goes

A commercial bill is four problems, not one.

Units are only part of it. The charges that hurt most are set by single bad half hours, by the time of day, and by the hours the grid is not there at all. Joulvant works on each of them separately.

  1. Maximum demand

One bad half hour sets the month.

The MDI charge follows the highest 30-minute demand between two readings. A compressor and a chiller starting together on a hot afternoon can cost more than a week of careful running.

What Joulvant doesTracks the running half hour as the meter does, and eases the loads that can wait or calls on the battery before the ceiling is reached.
  2. Peak hours

The same unit, priced far higher.

Peak units cost much more than off-peak ones, and the peak window moves with the season and the DISCO’s notices.

What Joulvant doesPlans the peak window with what the site has: the generator where it costs less than a peak unit, a battery where one is installed, and the loads that can move or wait, following the tariff’s hours by itself.
  3. Export on net metering

    Exporting too fast also costs.

On a net-metered connection export has its own demand reading. When a line stops on a sunny day, the solar output turns around and goes out to the grid.

What Joulvant doesWatches export as it watches import and trims the inverters within seconds when a load drops away. See how
  4. Outages and diesel

    Load-shedding decides the night.

Generators start late, run longer than they need to and carry loads that could have waited. Where there is a battery, one spent too early leaves the site dark at the worst time.

What Joulvant doesReads the feeder’s record, the planned shutdowns and the weather, so the switch to the generator is ready before a cut, only the loads that matter run on it, and any battery is kept for the next one.

No. 03 Demand and export control

When a production line stops at noon.

A large site makes and uses a great deal of power during the day. If a line trips, its load disappears in a second, and every kilowatt the solar was feeding it goes straight out to the grid, setting an export demand reading the bill will remember.

The reading is a 30-minute average. Trim the inverters within 60 seconds and a 500 kW surge counts for one thirtieth of the window: about 17 kW on the half-hour figure, not 500. Speed, not size, decides the bill.

  1. Use it on siteCharge the batteries and start deferrable loads first, so the energy is kept, not thrown away.
  2. Trim the invertersThe Hub reads the incomer meter and lowers each inverter’s power limit, then raises it as the load returns, writing only on change to spare the inverter’s memory.
  3. The maker’s own limiterA meter kit at the connection point holds a hard ceiling inside the inverters, even if the Hub or the network is down.
  4. Reverse power protectionA relay at the incomer trips the solar breaker if every other layer has failed.

A plan that learns your site and corrects itself.

AI mode plans the next 24 hours for every site and runs it. Your goals come first, in the order you set; your settings are its starting points. Each day is scored against the goals, and the plan moves one setting at a time, keeping a step only if the following days get better.

No. 06 Industries

Built for the way Pakistani sites actually run.

Every sector carries a different load and a different risk. The audit starts from yours.

  • Textile & processing mills

Motors, compressors and humidification around the clock. Holding the MDI with staggered starts, export control on large rooftops, generator hours through cuts.

  • Cold storage & food

Compressors that must keep product cold. Pre-cooling before the peak, easing within a set temperature band, rooms that are never switched.

  • Pharma & clean rooms

HVAC to strict conditions beside process loads that cannot be touched. Planning around fixed loads, and a full log of every action for audits.

  • Offices, malls & hotels

Chillers, splits and lifts following the day and the weather. Peak-hour avoidance, AC easing by zone, solar used on site first.

  • Branch & depot networks

Banks, retail, schools and depots, each with its own inverter. Every site on one screen, the same rules everywhere, outage readiness across the estate.

  • Hospitals & campuses

Loads that must never stop next to loads that can wait. Reserve kept for critical supply, generator and grid working together.

No. 07 How we work

Nothing is bought before the audit. Nothing is controlled before it is measured.

No. 11 Questions

What energy managers ask first.

Do we have to replace our inverters or meters?

No. Joulvant is built to work with what is installed. The audit lists what each device allows; where a meter or logger makes a real difference, it is priced in the report before anything is bought.

Will it change our equipment without asking?

No. Every device starts read-only. Control is switched on one device at a time by the account’s owner, inside limits you set, and every change is read back and logged.

What happens when the internet goes down?

The Hub carries on. It keeps its settings and the day’s plan on site and talks to the equipment over the local network; the cloud catches up when the link returns.

Does third-party control affect the warranty?

It depends on the maker. Some ask for their consent before another system controls their inverters. The audit checks the terms for your equipment, and control is only switched on where it is allowed.

How is export kept under the limit when a load trips?

The Hub reads the meter at the connection point and lowers the inverters’ power limit within seconds, then raises it as the load returns. Where the maker offers a meter-based limiter, it holds a hard ceiling underneath.

Who can see our data?

The people you invite, in the roles you give them. Each company’s sites and history are kept apart from every other customer’s.
